APF Receives $1250 from TELUS Fibre for Good Program

  • by
In 2017 the Abbotsford Police Foundation was chosen to participate in the TELUS Fibre for Good program.  As a result of that community initiative Ravi Sidhu, TELUS Senior Regional Market Manager, presented Abbotsford Police Foundation President Kevin Boonstra with a cheque for $1,250. The APF would like to thank TELUS for their ongoing support of the Abbotsford Police Department and the work of our foundation in support of APD programs. Fibre for Good is one of the ways TELUS creates opportunities for Canadians to support causes they believe in. Through Fibre for Good, new TELUS PureFibre customers can select a participating local charity to receive $25 from TELUS. Since 2014, Fibre for Good has benefitted 63 communities, helped 338 charitable partners, giving over $510,000 in grants. Thank you everyone in Abbotsford who supported this initiative!
