Abbotsford Police Foundation would like to thank Abbotsford Scotiabank employees and Branch Manager Kshitij Bhupendra who once again donated $1,000 from funds raised for the United Way. Abbotsford Police Department School Liaison Officer Steve Kern thanked the staff for their generosity – “These funds directly impact the work of police officers as the donation supports important community policing programs. One of our signature programs supported each year by the foundation is the APD City Basketball Tournament. Students look forward to the match as it helps kick off the basketball season with a fun tournament where they interact with police in a positive setting.”
