Thanks to your generosity in 2016 we are able to fund two important new initiatives:
Specialized Equipment: A John Deere ‘GATOR’ all-terrain vehicle –– to help police easily access challenging sites across our city. We are looking forward to welcoming the GATOR soon – stay tuned for updates!
Specialized Programming: The Abbotsford Police Department partnered with the Abbotsford School District to respond to the Fentanyl crisis with an innovative new program ‘Youth Making Positive Choices’. This initiative – designed to focus more on engaging with middle school youth is currently in development and will be rolled out across the City in the coming months. We’d very much like to thank Columbia Cabinets for generously donating $1,500 to achieve our fundraising goal.
