Youth Making Positive Choices

Admin4APFNews

Thanks to the generous donations from our citizens and sponsors, the Abbotsford Police Foundation is able to fund a new Abbotsford Police Department initiative designed to engage youth in our community, empowering them to make good life choices. The 2017 program was developed by the APD in partnership with School District 34. The program educates students on the dangers of drug use, supports youth in developing critical thinking skills, and encourages teens to create their own messages that inspire peers to make positive choices.

The APF is grateful for the considerable funding provided by our key sponsors, Columbia Cabinets and Scotiabank, as well as the contributions from the BC Whitecaps and BC Lions.

If you wish to contribute toward this program or the many other APD programs APF supports, please contact Kelly Railton at 604 556 1361.
