Although "Crime is Toast" Breakfast with the Chief, our annual fundraising event has been cancelled for 2021, we still need to raise some much needed funding to support our local police!  So, we've decided to host our first ever ONLINE AUCTION!  The auction will run from November 1 - 15, 2021.

The AbbyPD identified Improved Road Safety as a key priority for 2021. Says Chief Constable Mike Serr:

"Tragically, motor vehicle accidents in Abbotsford continue to leave many families forever impacted by the loss or life altering injuries of a loved one.  This is such a preventable outcome and at AbbyPD we are committed to improving road safety, but we need help.  Naturally, we cannot be everywhere and using new technology to address dangerous driving is required.  I want to thank the Abbotsford Police Foundation for their commitment to helping us tackle dangerous driving habits in Abbotsford through raising funds that help us purchase new road safety tools. Your generous support will help us buy portable commercial vehicle scales, digital traffic speed readers, and other equipment that we otherwise could not support in our budget. Thank you for you ongoing support – there truly is “Strength in Community.”

The APF set a goal to raise $75,000 in support of this and other initiatives designed to keep our community safe.  Now, more than ever, we are counting on the generosity of our community to ensure we can continue to support the AbbyPD to make Abbotsford the "Safest City in BC."
