Battle of the Badges
Join Abbotsford Fire Rescue Services, Abbotsford Police Department, their families and supporters for the second annual BATTLE OF THE BADGES CHARITY HOCKEY GAME PRESENTED BY MCDONALD’S. The two teams will face off on the Abbotsford Canucks ice, on April 10th at Abbotsford Centre. Doors open at 5:00pm and puck drops at 6:00pm.
Tickets are $10 and all proceeds from your purchased ticket will go to support the Abbotsford Police Foundation and the Abbotsford Fire Fighters Charitable Society!
Trees of Hope Campaign
We are excited to be the charity recipient for the Sevenoaks Shopping Centre “Trees of Hope” campaign again in 2024. Community Partners join us to ‘brand’ their own Christmas tree.
AbbyPD City Police Basketball Tournament
This initiative encourages positive choices and opportunities for youth through sport. More than 750 players, coaches, volunteers, and 1000+ members of the community are involved each year. Police officers participate on the organizing committee and attend every game, providing a positive role model for youth.
AbbyPD Movie Night in the Park
This annual event draws thousands of residents to Mill Lake Park for a movie, refreshments, and the opportunity to connect with the AbbyPD. The community are able to engage with police officers and view many of the programs and items the Police Foundation funds.
Crime is Toast – Breakfast with the Chief
Our community hears of all the programs funded by the APF, as well as met the incoming chief, and thanked the outgoing chief and hear about what the goals for the AbbyPD!
