This holiday season consider a donation to the Abbotsford Police Foundation in your recipient’s name. Your generosity helps fund Abbotsford Police Department community programs.
Some of the APD programs supported this year:
Project Band-Aid – APD Officers visit children in hospital leaving them with a toy ‘Hector the Protector’.
Annual Abbotsford Police City Basketball Tournament – Over 750 students playing to promote positive choices for youth through basketball.
Annual Abbotsford Police Camp – A week long day camp for kids, interacting with local police and learning new skills.
Specialized Equipment – Each year we strive to purchase specialty equipment for the APD, tools that fall outside of their annual operating budget that will help them police the community.
Youth Making Positive Choices – A new initiative to engage youth and empower them to make good life choices. The current program focuses on educating youth on the dangers of drug use.
